In a really cool story, CNN has an article that talks about how the US Army is taking advantage of the advancements in technology to help make life easier for the returning soldiers who unfortunately were wounded in combat overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan. Marine Lance Cpl. Joshua Bleill tragically lost both his legs in a roadside bombing in October 2005 and the doctors have given him them back with prosthetics that use bluetooth technology. It’s a major breakthrough as Bleill is one of the two Iraq war veterans to have this new method of mobilization and these devices are used to help Bleill coordinate his leg movements by sending each leg a signal letting them know when to be coordinated.
