Percentage of US consumers that use social networking sites

  • Teenagers (12-17): 47% have a profile and contact users, 6% have a profile but do not contact users, 6% use a social networking site but no profile, and 41% don’t use networking sites.
  • Young Adults (18-21): 69% have a profile and contact users, 5% have a profile but do not contact users, 6% use a social networking site but no profile, and 20% don’t use networking sites.
  • All Adults (18+): 20% have a profile and contact users, 5% have a profile but do not contact users, 5% use a social networking site but no profile, and 71% don’t use networkings ites.
