Spotify Wrapped has arrived. But this year, the audio platform’s annual personalized listening summary is changing, thanks to an infusion of artificial intelligence. In addition to our expected standard recap, Spotify is launching Your Spotify Wrapped AI podcast. It’s powered by Google’s NotebookLM, a popular AI-integrated application that transforms any content into a podcast hosted by two digital hosts. If you’ve ever wanted to hear two “people” debating your taste in audio programs or music, here’s your chance!
Both Spotify and Google say that every podcast is unique as it’s fine-tuned to the individual’s listening habits. It uses the same technology behind NotebookLM’s Audio Overviews, and Google calls the Wrapped AI podcast a “first-of-its-kind” integration designed to showcase how AI can deliver personalized experiences.

This isn’t the first time Spotify Wrapped has been infused with AI. Naturally, the tech generates a personalized summary every year. Machine learning also happens behind the scenes. However, this is the first year Spotify has collaborated with Google to use its Gemini AI to make Wrapped more special.
Although Spotify Wrapped may be available wherever the audio app can be used, the Wrapped AI podcast isn’t. It’s available only in English for eligible Free and Premium users located in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland, and Sweden. The podcast is only available for a limited time, though Spotify and Google didn’t quantify that.
Spotify cautions that AI hosts could “occasionally mispronounce words” and may not provide a comprehensive overview.
You can access this year’s Spotify Wrapped by logging into the Spotify homepage or visiting spotify.com/wrappedAIpodcast. From there, tap “Your Wrapped AI podcast” to listen. Users can search for it within the Spotify app. If you like what you hear, Spotify wants you to share it, or you can download it and upload it to another platform for others to hear.
