Live from Podcamp DC

So I’ve finally arrived at Podcamp DC and it’s been an interesting ride thus far. Stopped by the first session and learned a little bit about how to set up your own podcast and then bailed probably a few minutes in just to head over to another session where Podcast organizer Christopher Penn was talking about setting up new media to work in marketing. I think that’s my own little issue with Podcamp DC…they have a bunch of sessions that I like but often times they happen at the same time. What’s going on with that? Sure, it’s an “unconference” and they adhere to the rule of “two feet” where you can get up and leave at any time. BUT, what if I’m so enamored with a session (like I am right now) but want to head to another session? I feel that I’m rather “jipped” and am forced to pick and choose between two great discussions.

But aside from that, I think that Podcamp DC is going pretty well. Everyone once again has their web and digital cameras, laptops, camcorders, and blackberry/iPhones and are probably posting every single event going on in the sessions. I’m sure that if you want to find what’s going on, go ahead and check on Twitter for PodcastDC or even on search engines (keyword “podcastdc”) and you’ll find what’s going on.
