Healthcare investment firm Inflect Health wanted to grow its podcast audience. Its “For Startups, By Physicians” program debuted in 2022 as a Q&A show in which Director of Operations and host Lindsey Kriger interviewed technologists working to break ground in healthcare.
“For Startups, By Physicians” was designed for anyone working in the industry, whether on the frontlines, as a scientist or technologist. For the podcast’s inaugural season, distribution was limited to Inflect Health’s website.
As a producer and content strategist, I overhauled the publishing process, syndicating the entire show catalog on more platforms—increasing it from three to 11, setting up a landing page, and collaborating with marketing team members to generate audiograms, blog articles and social media posts. I also worked with the podcasting engineer to ensure high-quality production levels were maintained.
In addition, I collaborated with Inflect Health’s team to identify topics and generated guest interview questions designed to create engaging and informative episodes for listeners.
“For Startups, By Physicians” downloads skyrocketed, increasing by nearly 400 percent, season over season.
