  • Key roles include project management, community engagement, and marketing communications.
  • Managed the development of key internal digital platform which is used by staff to generate insights and reports of each week's tech news to share with Orange's leadership. Continued to oversee enhancements to this product to improve office communication. In addition, I championed creation of a website for the office to help greatly improve our digital presence. In this capacity, I spearheaded the generation of a functional specification document as well as the copywriting, design, and development of the WordPress-powered site.
  • Successfully ran a content marketing program where I facilitated generation of blog posts by our analysts and management on the company blog. Moreover, effectively placed contributed posts from our team in publications like TechCrunch and Wired.
  • Oversaw external communications where I responded to press inquiries and procured interview interests by The Wall Street Journal, the Financial Express (India), FOX Business, the Daily Dot, Bloomberg Business, and Altimeter Group. Alongside our PR firm, produced press releases and facilitated media coverage for our Orange Fab accelerator program in VentureBeat, TechCrunch, and others. In addition, jointly worked with our PR firm to handle press logistics for inaugural GigHacks multi-city gigabit hackathon event May 1-3, 2015.
  • Responsible for managing the company's social media presence. Took over management in June 2014 and saw a follower increase of 168% on Twitter, 90% on LinkedIn, and 102% on Facebook.
  • Leveraged my network to produce speakers for various Orange events, including participants from Slack, Boost.vc, Intel, Lyft, Halo Neuroscience, Silicon Valley Bank, GitHub, Airbnb, and others.
  • Assisted with generating deal-flow on behalf of our early-stage startup investment vehicle, Orange Digital Ventures. Attended conferences and events to vet companies.

  • Broke the story that photo-sharing startup Color had been acquired by Apple in 2012.

  • Main producer for the agency's second-largest client working on projects of various budget sizes (max up to $100k)
  • Successfully planned & produced video presentations for use in booth displays internationally ranging from small displays to 4x8 42" monitor setups for multiple clients while also retaining animation and voice-over talent.
  • Wrote the functional specs and produced development of an eDetail presentation that operates on a tablet PC. Played director for a video for use in same eDetail featuring client geared for health care professionals.
  • Discovered potential security flaw in website content management and informed client about it which led to update to administration system.
  • Managed and maintained content on the award-winning site, TransplantExperience.com using a Drupal admin back-end while working with developers and designers to help grow site registrations and increase web traffic.
  • Diligently worked to help enhance email marketing program by revamping how text-only emails were being formatted & delivered while working and troubleshooting with the client's fulfillment center and bringing the emails up to best practice standards.

  • Responsible for development and execution of social media strategies and programs for all of the agency’s clients.
  • Oversaw the development of a “People’s Choice” Program for Ardica designed to get the public’s input on their favorite product design. Successfully received 800 votes from the public within a two week window and had media from Technologizer, Techie Diva, VentureBeat and Gear Live attend the awards ceremony.
  • Assisted in the Sonos influencer review program by securing the participation of music enthusiasts, including MC Hammer.
  • Spearheaded a guerilla marketing campaign at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show for a client – successfully secured media interviews with VentureBeat, BNet.tv, CrunchGear and TechZulu. Also persuaded Leo Laporte from TWiT.TV to interview another client during Showstoppers event.

  • Contracted to help oversee development of a widget combining use of Twitter, Flickr, and Upcoming.org to promote virally through social networks supported by the Clearspring platform. This widget has resulted in over 20,000 views & 7,000 unique visits since launch in September 2008.
  • Supervised development of website for client promoting the Lincoln Bicentennial in Washington, DC using WordPress as a Content Management System and importing events from Upcoming.org into the site resulting in site traffic of over 7,000 unique visits.

  • Responsible for executing marketing campaigns to drive website traffic to Washington.org, resulting in 5.9 million unique visits to the site in fiscal year 2007 and 7.5 million unique visits in fiscal year 2008 – a 10% and 6% increase from estimated goals.
  • Coordinated online re-branding efforts to aggregate on ShareYourDC.com. The end result was being featured on ABC’s Nightline, discussed in the New York Times and the Washington Post with intention to solicit input from local DC residents.
  • Created a Facebook business/fan page that presently has resulted in over 10,000 fans that highlights various citywide events & showcases various promotions.
  • Conducted $300,000 website redesign of Washington.org - including developing Request for Proposal, selecting vendor, participating in discovery process, and overseeing creative, technical, project management, and content management progress.
